  Under the direction of the Department of Health, Office of Drinking Water, Washington Certification Services is responsible for administering the State of Washington Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) Certification Program and the Waterworks Operator Professional Growth Program.

• Approved Backflow Prevention Assemblies List

  As of May 1, 2013, the WA-DOH will no longer publish the agency Approved Assemblies List. The USC-Approved Assemblies List is now available to the public at no cost. You may access USC’s list by clicking the link above.
  If you are out in the field, use USC’s mobile version.
  Under WAC 246-290, Backflow Prevention Assemblies that appear on the USC-Approved Assemblies List are acceptable to the agency for protection of the public water system.
