DCVA Engraved as a DCDA
“In Seattle we recently found a DCVA installed that had a nameplate showing that it was a DCDA, prompting us to not approve the installation because there was no evidence of the bypass assembly and it appeared that the assembly may have been tampered with.
The manufacturer has now admitted that they engraved the wrong assembly type of the assembly nameplate, and the supplier of the assembly went out and engraved the nameplate as seen attached.
